What is the typical time frame to receive the original labor / PERM certification after the approval (online)? Who receives the original typically?

Mine got approved in about 2 months time. My labor certificate reached the lawyer who passed it on to my employer.

I did a big mistake of not asking for a copy and again when I received it while filing I140 - did not make a copy again.

Please save a copy for yourself - it helps a lot while switching jobs during AC21.

Thanks. But how long did it take to get the physical copy after the online approval / approval mail from DOL.
I assume, you would have signed the labor before applying for I140.

Pls clarify.

It's been a while and I don't remember, what I signed - those were the times of innocence, if you could say that . The physical copy should represent itself in no time once it is approved. I presume that is how the lawyer comes to know about it.

Mine got approved exactly 2 months and a week. The lawyer sent me a copy of I-140 that was sent to USCIS and that covered my Labor certification also.
