Transfering within the same company perm status

Hi

My current company is just about to finish the recruitment phase of the perm certification process. However, I am being transferred to a different location within the same company. My title and job roll will stay the same.

Will i have to start my entire perm process all over from the beginning?

more info: I am on my second "3-year" H-1B which is set to expire in october 2013. If they restart my perm process will i have enough time before my H-1 expires?

Will your job location change too? If its greater than 50 miles or so, they need to re-run the recruitment with the new job location. Experts can correct me if I am wrong
