Question How to get I-140 receipt number?
Is there a way to get my I-140 receipt number by calling USCIS?

Is there a number I can call?
What info I will need to provide?

I have already filed 485 using pending I-140.
I can get 485 receipt number when my check is cashed.
For 140, I need to find receipt number just for tracking.
How to get it?
I could not find from the thread.
Could you just give me the text from the post which has details.

Ask your lawyer or HR person about it. I understand it's frustrating not being able to track your application. I was about to bug my husband's lawyer again this week, but surprise: Monday my husband got a copy of the I-140 approval notice, so there's no need for that anymore.

Problem is lawyer is too busy now.
So I will need to call USCIS and get it.Just want to know how to get it from USCIS - Can i Call them.Where to call and what info to give?

Check your I - 485 Application, It should have I-140 (Receipt #) on the 1st page option h

yes u can...tell them its filed more than 30 days ago...they ll take ur name and date of birth and will let u know....

USCIS may be busier than ur lawyer...plzzz call and try ur luck....google for USCIS cust serv number...
Apart from ur HR and lawyer no one here can do anything abt it....u have all options in front of u...
