Default Should there be a 485 LUD change following I-140 approval

Is there any LUD change for I-485 receipt no. once the underlying I-140 is approved, or if there is a requirement for the petitioning individual inform USCIS that underlying I-140 has been approved.

Default GC approved

My husband's I-140 was approved on 08/01 and on 08/03 we both got LUDs on the I-485 with no change in message. Today we got e-mails saying CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED, so I don't know if the last week's I-485 LUDs were because of the I-140 approval or because of the I-485 approval.

Thanks, good luck to you.

I don't know, maybe they had some visas left or they returned some visas requested in June and now they asked for them back and used them for some cases.

Where you 485 was pending, NSC or TSC? Congratulations! I do not see any LUD change on the 485 following I-140 approval. Did you inform USCIS once your I-140 was approved.

Default probably

I-140 approval notice says that AOS application outcome will be informed seperately. But the concern is that if one should expect a LUD change for 485 following I-140 approval.

Thank you. It was at TSC. There's no need to inform them about anything. They are the ones who approve both I-140 and I-485. When you apply for I-485, usually you have to provide the receipt number for I-140. So I guess the cases are linked, even if they process them separately. And the text on the I-140 approval notice is standard. It says that now you can apply for I-485, but as we all know many people applied for I-485 long time ago.
Like I said before, it was just my assumption that the LUD on 485 was triggered by the approval of I-140. Maybe was just a coincidence, because on 08/05 I had LUD on the already approved I-131, or maybe it happened because my I-485 was ready to be approved and just waiting on I-140 approval.

Default events that trigger 485 LUD change

I was wondering that how many times you should typically see a LUD change for a pending 485 application.
