Checks must match address given on 485?

Hello All

My employer paid me for my 485 application,he gave me his personal checks in the name of uscis, i applied with those checks, now i hear that
"The Address Printed On your checks Must Match the adress given in work sheets[in 485]"
I am confused,will they accept the application,checks are not cashed yet,applied on july18th
Please Help

if employer or Lawyers are issuing check then how this will happen.(unless your employer, lawyer and you live in same address)

But it will be there in the G325 A where we enter the address for the past 5 years. That should cover it, if at all this is an issue.

I got the info from my friends attorney.
i want to verify it with my attorney but he is not lifiting phone. he is too busy

Emailed my attorney immediately and he said that as long as the checks do not bounce the application is going to be OK.

It does not matter to the USCIS if the checks do not have the same address as on the I485.

Guys please dont make such comments and scare everyone...There is no rule that that address shud match the address in ur 485 application.USCIS is not so dumb to look at the address on each of the check.No one ever in this country will ever validate the address on checks...no worries guys

I don't think it is correct.

Because i applied for my wife's H4 extension last year and i have sent a check without any address to USCIS, and my wife's H4 extn approved without any problems.

thats sigh of relief for me.
My friends attorney did'nt file his 485 unless he got new checks with his address imprinted on them.poor guy had to order new set of checks.
Not sure why attorneys do this

If the address in the checks and the applications should match then most of the AOS applications will be rejected for mismatch.

I wonder how people will come up with such questions, i never even thought about it. And i dont think it's a problem. It's just my opinion per my experience.
