Default Initiating GC Process

Hello ALL,

Few days back i complained to DOL about my ex employer for not paying me. I changed to a different company and now I am in the process of starting my green card process..

I am for sure that my ex employer will not provide employement verification letter, relieving letter or experience letter.

How can I prove my experience if DOL (During Perm Process) or USCIS (During 140 or 485 Process) requests for employement verification or any such letter during my GC Process?

Appreciate your response,

Thank you..

you can get an affidivit from any of the coleague worked with you in the same company, stating, that you both worked in that company and nature of your work. Your attorney should be able to assit you for the for the format of the affidivit.

You can even submit a reference letter from any other person who can vouch for your employment with your previous company. But it all depends on how much you are willing to take the chance. How many years was this for ? & whether it makes a big difference to include the experience or not.
