Guru's,

Please advice how secure it is to file a GC Labor for a employee without keeping Attorney in between.

We hold a compnay and have one employee working for it on consulting, would like to file a green card for him, your advice would be appreciatable.

1. How secure it is to file the green card without Lawyer?

2. How easy to handle the queries if we come across any?

3. How hard it is to hire a lawyer in case if we get any critical query?

What best you recommed, start the GC by hiring a lawyer Or just file with your own??????????

File Form 9089 with DOLETA with supporting documentations.

If I were in your position I would definately hire an attorney rather than doing it by myself it is risking too much and by the way you cant file PERM yourself either you employer or an attorney can.

Better to hire an attorney, atleast for the labor certification, since DOL is likely to have 30% or more PERM applications audited from this year onwards.

I would suggest you go with a lawyer for Labor and 140, at least. These are complicated stages and saving a few grand is not worth it. My 2 cents...
