Default Incorrect priority date in I-140

My wife's actual priority date is Jan 2004, but in the approved I-140 it is incorrectly stated as Feb 2006. Our attorney says they have sent multiple letters to USCIS without any result/response and that when they applied for the I-485 in June, they enclosed the original labor approval requesting to consider the correct priority date. We are concerned that this issue might delay our GC and wanted to find out if there is someway to get this resolved

The same thing happened to me. My approved I-140 incorrectly showed PD as Dec 2005 instead of Dec 2003. My lawyer send request to USCIS and they ammended it successfully. This happened in Jan 2006 and my modified I-140 came to me in Mar 2006. But situation is quite different now. So, I don't know what to say.

Default Incorrect priority date

Thanks neel_gump. In my case, the attorney is not very helpful.

Why don't you take an Infopass appointment and bring the matter to the notice of USCIS..?

Lightbulb

same issue happened to my co-worker also from india.

His lawyer filed for amendment.

Took six months.

He got new approval notice with corrected PD.

Personally I think its good to file for amendment.

Hope this helps!

Same thing here. Attorney contacts the USCIS on phone in August 2007. The I-140 is corrected within a week and attorney receives the amended I-140 the week after. That was superfast for USCIS NSC I would say

Do you know the process for PD amendment/correction. To which address did he send the documents requesting for correction.

Thanks
