Can we lobby all naturalized citizens

All,

I am just throwing this out there and hope to see how the response is. Since IV is doing so much work, I was just wondering if anyone has considered talking to our desi as well as other countries (china & all retrogression affected) naturalized US citizens to participate in the debates to ask questions to presidential candidates about whether anything is being done to address problems associated with legal immigration. Maybe this will attract the public attention that IV needs for lobbying our efforts to end retrogression problem.

I was reading somewhere on trackiit that the reason illegal immigration receives so much attention is because the ones who become citizens also provide support for them. I dont know how true this is. Unfortunately , for us even though there are about more than 500,000 people who are waiting for GC but only few thousands turn up for lobbying.

Good idea. But, considering we don't have even 2,500 active/contributing members out of 25,000 who (most) are actually affected by the backlog - what chances do we have with those who have nothing to worry about the backlog?

First, lets unite EB Immigrants. Then we'll worry about getting support from others.

somehow we GC aspirants are not united ... how can we expect other people to share our concern and support our cause ... and as I see in real life and read in forums once someone cross the green line they try to forget the pain/delay/issue with the GC process...

so better get united ourselves and help IV to work for our cause ...
