Opened SR, No update so far

I've opened a service request last month. Its been close to 28 days and there's no update. How do i get an SR update? Is there a way/method to get an update?

If anyone knows please let me know.

Please post more data for people to respond w/their views. Like what is your current situation, what was SR raised in first place etc...

I opened a SR with Customer Service in 2007. I was told you will receive info in 45 days. On 45th day I received a letter saying you will be updated in 60 days.

But I did not get any reply. I called Customer service and explanied what happened. Another SR was opened with a promise to reply in 45 days. Again no reply. I took infopass appointment and asked them what going on with my appl. The Immi Officer was so reluctant to give any info. Officer just said "Its pending.". I tried to ask another question I stillgot only one reply "Its pending".

SR's are only to create jobs for them. Not really to help you. Do not expect much. You will be happy.

I would suggest write to them with the relevant supporting docs and send it by USPS with delivery confirmation . This did help us in our EAD approval as the FP notice was returned undeliverable by USPS .

I opened an SR in Jan because my RD was 60 days out of processing dates. They said wait 30 days. I called after 30. They said wait 45 days. I called after 45 days. They said wait 60 days. Then they retrogressed processing times, so my RD is no longer 60 days behind.

I don't expect to receive a reply. SR is bull.

My solution will be to ask for progress on existing SR when the RD is next 60 days behind. Then when they don't reply I'll go to congressman's office with a pre-written letter and ask them to send on congressman's stationary. When they reply with "still pending", then I'll file WOM.

In effect I am just building a cause of action for WOM.
