About ADIT (from some forum):
ADIT=Alien Documentation Identification & Telecommunication Systems.
Could mean biometrics not up to date or just stamp in passport.
Either way they will tell you what they want.

ADIT (I-551) stamping
• Applicant appears at local USCIS for ADIT processing, as outlined in AOS approval letter. Applicant will not be scheduled for an ADIT appointment, ADIT processing is done by "walk-in" basis ONLY.

• Once the applicant adjusts his/her status by completing ADIT processing, s/he is given the I-551 permanent resident stamp in his/her passport.

Default Received Decision email on 10/14

************************************************** ********************
Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Your Case Status: Decision

On October 14, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

If you have questions or concerns about your application or the case status results
listed above, or if you have not received a decision from USCIS within the current
processing time listed*, please contact USCIS Customer Service at (800) 375-5283.

************************************************** ******************

My PD is May 29, 2007 with NSC. I called in to confirm my address change and spoke to L2 about the status. So I am not sure if that triggered the move or if the IO is already working on it. Hoping to receive the CPO email and actual cards soon.

Thanks to TK for all the hard work. Good luck to you all.

After looking at the approvals trend it is quite clear that those who are current are being approved at a reasonable but not at an all inclusive pace. By reasonable I would like to infer that the approvals exceed the allowed usage for India and China both 250 (Monthly Limit) and 750 (Quarterly Limit). However amongst those current there is still a large number of people waiting I believe the approved to waiting ratio is 50-50. On the other site I read that NSC is performing better than TSC on approvals. The next limit for the approvals is the full annual cap of 2800 for I/C, if the agencies like they can consume the whole cap this month itself, let’s all keep watch. Will request all who are getting approved to share the good news.

When do you think people who applied for 485 in 2011 will start getting approvals? Some of the approved cases have PD later than that for my case. Do you think they reserve visa numbers for 2011 applied cases too?

Realistically these should start in 2 months of filing if the agencies are willing to commit numbers. As of now even those whose cases are current by the Oct VB and filed i Jul 2007 have not seen approvals. All PWMB's will see some time lag. If the agencies really go by the pattern last year then it will be atleast May. Quarterly spillover is the best bet but it is something that has never happened, however the way intake has been taken this year is itself unprecedented. Let’s hope for the best.

Teddy:

On other fourms like Murthy, etc., there are users who were current in Oct 2011 and had filed in Jul 2007 have reported 485 approvals. Their PD are from Jun - Jul 2007.

Only 50% have been approved, 50% are waiting. This is primarily due to the lack of free availability of numbers.

Has USCIS or DOS ever released number of usused visa numbers past 10 years..I know they have recently started doing the spill over, but they couldn't have been issuing 140k GC's every year since 2001
