Teddy your statement resembled those that come from war veterans. Most IV folks have stories to tell. We almost feel like "X war veterans". X stands for vietnam and other wars. The bondage between us on these forums is pretty strong. Thomachan - it's better to glance and not meet at grocery stores, otherwise IV amyway folks will catch you

My experience maybe limited because I have lived mostly around 2 places in US. Place one there were few desis so if anyone crossed each other then even unknown people would generally smile or say hello. Place 2 too many desis around people will make it a point to completely ignore and try to avoid the fellow desi. So frankly its individual individuals who wish to interact or not.

Leo07 is one of the senior most members on this forum by all accounts. Yes we have had a special camaraderie thanks to both of being PWMB's and otherwise it has been a really long journey which we have kind of lived together. Silver lining is the privilige of interacting with some good people.

Oct - Mar is flu season so getting flu shot at this time is required. Several people have got a RFE for this several lucky ones did not get it for this reason. So yes you are taking a chance.

I would strongly suggest get a flu shot now and keep the papers ready. If you get an RFE you can immediately respond

Please confirm with your friend if that really is the case. I have never heard of anyone getting a GC before the EAD/AP.

Are you sure he applied for EAD/AP as well??

I want to update one more thing. One of my friend PD is sept 2008 and he got his approval on Tuesday . He did not get any EAD , directly GC.

He is from NSC and with in 2 weeks after figure printing done, his case got approved .

Yes it would be nice to confirm about the EAD and also exact PD with this person. Hopefully he/she is your friend and not a friends friends friend (just kidding)

Looks like lots people are getting RFE for BC. Can we still use affidavit in lieu of BC and NAC if original BC is not available?

Not true...Lots of people have got GC without EAD/AP approval.

Its more than 90 days...all my applications are still in initial review and most of every one around my RD got the GC already....

I have good news to share with you guys.... 485 has been Approved...I used to follow all the posts from TEDDY,LEO,SOGGADU and everybody...Congrats to all those who got approved in the past few days ... This is the first forum that I started watching since sometime around Last Aug...and one of the best forums....

I hope Teddy will get it by end of this week...
