EB2-EB3 Predictions (Rather Calculations II)

The latest demand data clearly shows that there is huge demand destruction. It is not unreasonable for USCIS to make EB2I current in this month or the next.

So what is going to happen to EB3 I? Many are porting, there is huge demand destruction in EB3 world as well. Do you think USCIS will be motivated to move the cut off date for EB3I as well.

Sure, nobody expect EB3I dates to fly like it did for EB2I. But can we expect at least a few months of movement in the coming months?

The earlier thought was that anyone with EB3I PD of 2003 middle and beyond MUST port to EB2. Does that hold true in the changed circumstances?

Short answer is if you can get a job needing EB2 requirements go for it. Yes Even people in 2003.

Hi:
I received USCIS email regarding my and my spouse's EAD and travel doc approval. Thanks to everyone for all the information on the forum.

I have two questions:
- How many days it takes to get the actual card
- Can we expect a green card before October this year

I was able to hear the message it is for April and there is no movement for EB2 I/C, some movement for Family based categories I compared those dates against March bulletin to make sure the recording is for April.
So I guess it is confirmed that no movement for EB2 I/C

is it March Bulletin or April Bulletin you heard. Last time I called after March Bulletin it was recorded for Feb Bulletin

Phone > Printer Friendly Version PDF > The Actual bulletin.
It's 12:36 EST and we're on stage1.

I just called the number and heard:

EB2: May 1st 2010
EB3: Sep 1st 2002

EB3 world wide: 8th Apr 2006 ( this I did not pay too much attention, so might be wrong, but EB2I and EB3I are above mentioned dates.

If this is indeed true and it seems that way since EB3 has gone to sept 02, I guess it might be an indication for the following;
1) Higher eb3-eb2 porting?
2) sufficient applications in hand already and dont need to move the PD forward soon?
3) Atleast the possibility that retrogression is unlikely?
