TSC concurrent filer only 1-140 approved today

Hello All,

I am a Aug 9th EB2-India, concurent filer and had got an 140 approval mail today, I was under the impression that for all TSC concurrent cases I-140 and 485 would be adjudicated at the same time, if the priority date is current (mine is Nov'2003, hence is current).

Appreciate any responses.

One of colleagues was in a similar boat, got his 485 approved than got a mail for 140 approval, hence was wondering if this means the officer opened my case and for some reason was not able to adjudicate the case and hence just approved 140.

So if you know someone like this then atleast its a start..now with the Sep 08 visa bulletin, USCIS might start approving both at the same time to clear backlogs..just hoping..my I-140 is still pending...

I filed concurrently and my I-140 got approved on 1st aug. I was thinking my I-485 would be approved soon and got infected with COLTS (which is why I am still here).

My colleague filed concurrently and his got approved togather. so it seems it depends. What is your receipt number? Mine is starting with WAC.

Also, my I-485 says it is lying at the office it was transferred (instead of saying TSC). What does yours say? I think for my friend it was saying lying at TSC.

my I-485 also starts with WAC..it was transferred to CSC, generated receipts and than back to TSC. but it says lying at a USCIS office..but I got a second receipt notice informing me about the transfer...

Mine starts with SRC, it has always been with TSC. I am trying to not get infected with COLTS :-)

Also, do u all think FBI namecheck ..etc has a role to play here?

Yes, me too. It was on 7th Jan 08.
