institute won't get your green card faster unless you fall into EB1 category (refer categories below). Also there no special category for the kind of company you work other than having good attorney which may avoid slower or mistakes in the process.
i) EB1: employee with extraordinary ability in the science, arts, education, business or athletics, professors, researchers and Ph.D. holders etc. falls under this category.
It also includes people working in US as managers and executives on international transfer basis (Company transfer L1 holder)
(ii) EB2: This includes employee with extra ability in the field of science, arts or business, and advanced degree professionals (PG. degree holder).
(iii) EB3: This includes professionals with Bachelor/ Graduate degree, and other skilled workers.
Keep in mind that Employer based GC is for the position in your company and it all up to your company to file your GC.
Tell your spouse that nothing you can do (other than asking your company) on GC and it is your company which has to do and based on your country of birth the you may get it faster or slower or never get it.
If you feel based on your country of origin your process will be delayed for several years you better join with us to get some relief.

Can I mention and attach all the award certificates I have so far to the green card application and get it very fast as compared to other people? I donot want to wait for ever in the line.
I also have lot of pressure from my wife's side to get green card fast. Please let me know.
