Birth certificate in native langauage

Hi,
My birth certificate is in native language. I asked my father to visit the municipal corporation and request one in English. while he got another version, it doesn't contain my name on it. What should i do ? I heard one can get the birth certificate translated via certified translator. Is that required or the version in English without my name can be used ?

Have a friend (who speaks same language) translate it and get the translation notarized. The translation should be exactly in the same layout as original and certified by translator. See this USCIS - General Tips on Assembling Applications for Mailing

The corporation issued Birth Certificate but its not having my name . As per hindu customs name is given later . Should I get a affidavit from my parents stating that its the same person having birth certificate ?
