Post Experience letter for Eb2 filing ??

Hi friends,

Trying to port from eb3 to eb2.Currently working in the same company for past 10 years.
I am trying to join another company with EB2 porting option. Recently I came to know that while filing eb2, there is a requirement to submit the experience letter from previous employer to show years of experience. I don't think my current company will provide experience letter (not happened in the past to anyone). Is this really required ? Any other options like paystub or W2 ?? Please help or share your experience .

Thanks

AFAIK:

You can get it from a past manager or colleague - preferably on company letterhead. If that person has quit that company, then get the letter printed on the current company letterhead

Please confirm this with the attorney handling your eb2 paperwork.

I don't think my company provide experience letter anybody (no history at all) , is there any other options like get a notarized letter from my collegaues who worked with me ? Please help. I do have other information like pay stubs , w2 and letter from company HR to USCIS stating my start date to some date (more than 5 years) with the my position title (on company letterhead). Will this help ?

Experience letters signed by colleagues (preferably managers/supervisors) should be enough. For my I140, I just went with colleagues' letters (as I was not in good terms with my old employer(s)) and mine was approved without any RFEs

Default WorkNumber

In my case, my previous employer has refused to give a work experience letter and instead has pointed me to TheWorkNumber website. The letter from the website just confirms the basics like period of employment, salary, title etc. Any idea how USCIS treats work experience letters from TheWorkNumber?
