Concurrent I140/485 with recapture previous PD

I had EB3 I140 approved from previous employer with PD 01/22/09, I changed employer and with my new employer, my PERM was approved in 1st week of Aprill, so my attorney filed my

I140/485 together and also tried to retain the previous priority date, I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW HE IS TRYING TO DO THIS ?

Anyone with a similar situation PLEASE HELP, Thanks
