EB2 I-485 pending

Hi! I'm just new to this site and read a lot of helpful topics. My employer applied me EB2, I-140 approved, have my EAD already, I-485 pending. My PD date is April 2012. They said that release of visa will open by Oct, I'm just wonderin if my PD would be processed by then or not yet. I'm here in the US already on a working visa.

You may have to wait for 6 years to get your priority date current. If you want it in 2 years, follow up the action items (HR 3012) at this thread:

By the way, update your profile, so we understand what's going on....Just not sure how come you got your EAD from Apr '12 priority date. If you are not from India/China and got the EAD, you don't need to wait for Oct for visa to open. It is current for every EB2 except India/China.

Thanks for the reply. I updated my profile and its not showing. The EAD is the one with the card right? The work permit as they call it. I'm from the Philippines. Mine is adjustment of status, I don't know if that info will help. I had my fingerprinting 2 days ago. So I am still hoping that I don't have to wait for years. I don't know what's next. Just waiting for their notice.
