They should start advancing EB2-I right now to avoid the rush at the end of the year with the spillovers. Especially, with 18k numbers spilling over from family based, there is bound to be forward movement at the end of the fiscal year.
Proof: Look at the difference between available worldwide limits from demand data of March and April 2013 bulletins.

Thanks for the wishes. I think I will be current in next one to two months. That will make it 10+ years wait for GC and 14+ years stay in USA.

check demand data ..
the total number of visa for EB is 158k fro FY2013 ..
i am not sure it is a data mistake or real .
if it is real those numbers already included and distributed for all EB1(28.6%),Eb2(28.6%),Eb3 ,(28.6%) ,eb4(7.1) ,eb5(7.1) ... for FY2013 ..

you can check how this number are calculated in sec 202,203 or 204 or INA ..

This means USCIS is wasting visas allocated to Family based. Family based people also have a long waiting time. My relative is in family line and will be very unhappy to know this wastage.

I am sending my relatives this information and urge others related to family based application do the same. We all need to write to USCIS, Ombudsman State Senator and draw their attention to visa wastage going to happen this year.

18K visas from family based is a lot of wastage. US citizens will be impacted by this who have sponsored relatives. We need to post this on all forums and ask our relatives sleeping about this issue to get involved. If US citizens start making calls to Senators about the visa wastage, it could be stopped. We still have 6 months to go before end of year and this problem could be controlled in time.

They just need to get rid of the non-nuclear family-based categories and allocate those to the employment-based categories
