The I-140 should be approved from the first labor but job description or EB category does not matter.It doesn't have to be the same.
But in your case it seems like you left the previous company before getting I-140 approved hence you cannot port the PD. Quote:

Green Card is intention of future employment. I donot think, it should matter, if the beneficiary is in the company or not. As long as the employer is willing to file, it is fine. I think when u get the EAD one should be employed with the company. Am i right ? Can any one confirm this
