My company has agreed to file for my GC, but I feel that my attorney is really delaying the process in the pretext of being safe and sure. First, he wanted me to go back to all my ex-employers and get a new experience letter in his format. I could agree to that as it was in line to the Job description that was posted.
He is now telling the company to post the job ad only after he receives the prevailing wage rate determination to come back from the NJ Dept. of Labor. Is it the norm? I think the wage document is a necessity later on in justfying my employment. Not for SWA (State Workforce Agency) job bank posting.
Please advice... THANKS

You do need Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD) from SWA before posting the job ads.
Good Luck.
