Default Transfering H1

Hi,

Is it possible to transfer my H1 from one employer A to another B in a situation wherein I haven't started working working for A.Also haven't applied for SSN either.

So, is having i-797 is enoughh to transfer the H1-B..or one should necessarily work with the employer who applied for H1b?
Is SSN is a MUST document for transferring H1 ?

Thanks a lot.

As far I know, you have to work for the employer A for at least 3 months. Basically one of the documentations for transferring H1 is previous payslips. I am not sure if there is a fixed number of payslips they request, but I believe lawyers usually ask for last three months payslips. Now for you to get paid you need SSN.

This is from my experience and from what I have heard. Hope this helps.
