Default H1 transfer approved without client letter

Just to let you know that my h1 transfer approved without client client. I provided purchase order and a letter with decription of duties. I moved from full time company to small consulting firm just for green card processing.

Many congratulations on your approval and all the best for your GC process. The documents that you provided are actually bigger and more powerful than the client letter.

Thanks.
I prepared the document which shows all the responsibilities and the duties that i will be performing in the project. I did not want lawyer screw up the process because of lacf of this doc.I saw couple of H1s rejected because there was no clear description of job duties.

Uma! congrats For your H1 transfer....I am in the same boat, working as full time and planning to covert to Consulting for GC reasons. Could you please provide more details on your processing.

1.Did you apply for premium processing?
2.Did you join the job with only H1 receipt or you joined the new job after H1 approval?
3.Did you get any letter from Prime Vendor?

I am planning to start my H1 transfer process soon, But had all these confusions in mind as for most of the jobs the joining date is going to be with in 2 weeks from the date of interview. And we need to complete all the above process with in these two weeks.

Appreciate your reply.

sshrika,

I joined the client after I got my receipt. I lost couple of projects because of the 2 weeks period I wanted before join. That sucks. I told the client I need 2 weeks notice to inform at current project. One week for labor approval and 4 to 5 days to get H1 receipt. I did not provide prime vendor letter. Good Luck to you.
