New employer at the time of 221(g)

I am on H1B and my wife went for H4 stamping and got 221(g). Meanwhile , I changed my employer and got new I797. Should my wife file new aplication as her 221(G) might no longer be valid as the old application was with reference to the old employer.
Please advice.
