Default Going to US after visa approval but with no job

My visa is under 221g administrative processing. My employer has warned that if I don't get back in time, I will be laid off. Since usually administrative processing takes about 1 month of time, can I go to US with this visa but with no job in hand ?

Default llegal

It's illegal. Once you are laid-off you should use your old company's visa to enter U.S.A.

It's not illegal to be unpaid. You can take unpaid vacation. Inform your employer that you are on unpaid vacation.

I have been in Admin Processing for 2 months and I was able to work 1 month remotely and remaining period I took unpaid vacation.

I cam back and currently in US. Port of entry they didn't ask anything...

You enjoy your time until they complete admin processing
