It's not illegal to be unpaid. You can take unpaid vacation. Inform your employer that you are on unpaid vacation.
I have been in Admin Processing for 2 months and I was able to work 1 month remotely and remaining period I took unpaid vacation. I cam back and currently in US. Port of entry they didn't ask anything... You enjoy your time until they complete admin processing |
