Default Choosing between American Consulting or Indian outsourcing company

I need gurus advice in choosing an offer between two companies to transfer my H1B.

First offer is from an American Consulting company (owned by Americans :-) ) with about 150 employees among which there are 25 on H1B.

The other offer is from one of the top 10 Indian outsourcing companies offering a similar IT position.

Both of them are offering similar position, salary and benefits.

I want to choose the safest option in the current times where lot of us are having immigration issues. I also need to get my Visa stamped in a month or two once I get the approval. So help me choose the best option.

Thanks,
DesiOrVidesi

Both of them don't require travel. Almost identical jobs.

Perhaps Poll is a good idea :-). But it wont sound serious.

I dont understand. I have two legitimate offers from two legitimate companies. Under the current difficult circumstances (difficulties in Transfers/visa etc) for immigrants, what would be the safest option. Members might have been in similar situation and I want their advice.

Thanks

Talking It depends

If you like straight talking people... go with americans...

If you like people talking like... u know.... sugar candy... like who take emotions into considerations... go with desi...

But her end of the day, both are agents working/making a living with your money..

It depends... but i would say look which suits you... dont look at who will safe gaurd you...

In the New Testament there is internal evidence that parts of it have proceeded from an extraordinary man; and that other parts are of the fabric of very inferior minds. It is as easy to separate those parts, as to pick out diamonds from dunghills."

Default Go with your feeling. But do not think desi outsourcing is safe

Go wit your gut feeling. But do not assume that desi outsourcing firm safeguard you

Pros for big desi outsourcing firm
1. Big desi outsourcing firm may have more clients and can help you find next client after the current client work order finished
2. Big Desi firm may pay you for the first 2 or 3 weeks of bench period (Since try to place you during this period of time)

Cons
1. Big desi firm may make you work for 24hrs a day (depending on the type of job you are in)
