The new indian passport will not come with the US visa stamp obviously, so you got to follow the same procedure as a new applicant.
You will get a duplicate I-797 with a valid I-94 in it, so the embassy will understand that you were legally in the US and because of the fact that the passport was lost you are applying again. They have all the records believe me. I dont think they should have any problems re issuing the visa. Take a letter from your employer. Good luck -- You will be ok |
