Default Visit by IO to office. what to expect?

HI,
I was informed of visit by IO to my office regarding H-1B and wondering what to expect. I already have approved H1-B petition and work for a big company. Can you please let me know what kind of questions and documents i should have ready.

IO may ask for pay slip, driver license and W2. some of that can be provided later. Be prepared about describing your job (good to know what job description was your H1b filed under). he may ask about working hours, years of experience, who paid for h1 filing, what level of work you do etc.

Default IO Visit last year

I had the IO visit last year after my visa was extended. When he came to the office front desk and I met him, first I asked him kindly to show his badge, which he did. Later it was some general questions - what work you do, work hours, salary, manager's name, phone number etc. I asked him a question about his office location in town and it turned out that he was a sub contractor to uscis as well. All he knew was to ask questions, record answers and take those back to his home office and report the answers back to uscis.

Default Summary of Interview with IO

Thanks for all your replies. I met the USCIS FDNS Immigration Officer and below is
the summary of Interview

- Provided 2 months of pay stubs and latest form W2.
- Answered DOL questionnaire to choose job duties that closely match what i do.
- General questions regarding my Job role, pay, hours of work, whether i am a full time employee, Overall experience doing this kind of work, Highest degree, My contact details.

I was told it won't affect any existing pending applications with USCIS and is only a
independent survey conducted by them.

Hope this helps!
