Default H1B stamping in Mexico

Hi - I have my H1b visa till the end of Sep 09. I have my I-797 approved till Dec 2010 and planning to attend for stamping in Matamor (Mexico) in middle of this month(Sep 09). In odd scenario what are the options if I got any query. Do they allow me to enter US or Do I need to go back to India?

Any one who attened recently or please advise.

Thanks in Advance...
Siva

Please send your I-797 number to the consulate's email box and request them to verify if it in the PIMS database. You will get an email from them if there are any issues.

Default also sent emails to general consulate address.. no use

I forgot to add, I already emailed the general consulate address and they said they will only let me know on the day of my interview. going through other posts, looks like Mexico has better system where you will know the PIMS status a week before our appointment date. I even found a similar email for Ontario Canada but can't get anything for Toronto.. any help on how to verify PIMS is greatly appreciated.

I would call them if they don't respond to emails since your appointment date is very near.
