Hi,
If Pending 485 at NSC with Priority date of Oct 2003, and new EB2 140 is already ported to old 140 date of Oct 2003 on Approval from Texas service center, should I wait till USCIS resolve my I-485 or should I start contacting NSC service center via email or Senators? Since upcoming Jun bulletin has EB2 Unavailable, can any one suggest the best approach. Appreciate reply. Thanks. And here is the list of mail ids which i was looking earlier: EBUPDATE.Tsc@dhs.gov ncscfollowup.nsc@dhs.gov tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov scopsscata@dhs.gov |

Hi Everyone,
I have a quick some about self applying for I-765 and I'm hoping someone would reply. I didn't apply for EAD and Advance Parole during I-485. I wanted to play it safe, so I didn't apply. But now,I have changed my mind and would like to apply by myself. My I-485 application was sent to Phoenix AZ lockbox, which got routed to Texas Service center and then later got transfer to Nebraska Service Center. It's current pending with NSC. Now am applying for I-765/I-131 and I'm not sure where to send. Do I have to send it to Phoenix lockbox or NSC or TSC? Can anyone please let me know. Thanks in advance! Appreciate It! JV |

Below is the reply from Texas Service Center in reseponse to my second E-mail to EBUpdate .
" Your files are currently with an examiner for review/adjudication. You should receive a decision within 45 to 60 days. " The first resonse was " I requested your files. Once I receive, will be assigned to an officer and you will receive decision within 60-90 days". Does anybody has any idea how long it will take before getting approval ? Should I wait more or start congressional inquiry. Thanks |

Dear All,
I know the following questions were asked several times in this forum, I searched a lot and still want some direct answers to my questions. My 485 was filed in 07/2007 however my wife is still on H4: 1. H1 transfer after 7 years what items should be taken care of? 2. Salary increase is more than 30%, will this be a risk during H1 transfer and subsequently to port from Eb3 to EB2? 3. Should I inform USCIS about change in the employers. I have an EAD but have not used EAD so far and I am assuming that H1 transfer itself will be based on AC21 portability. Can someone throw some light on this? 4. Since my I-140 is approved and 485 filed and I am in the 8th year of H1 can I file I-140 on a premium basis? Any other suggestions and advises will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance. |

@khukubindu many congratulations.
Our portings are 5 days apart. Did you send two EB Update emails. And also did you initiate a congress inquiry. Since my emails I have not seen any LUD's on my I-485 cases. -R

I recently filed for porting from EB3 to EB2 (PD Aug 207). I think the lawyers sent the request for porting around April 20th. Checked via email with TSC and here is the response
"Per the State Dept visa bulletin visas are unavailable for 2nd preference employment based I 485’s from India and China. Visas should be available again at the start of the new fiscal year, October 01, 2012, however we do not know what the State Dept cutoff date will be at that time" |
