Default L1B-H1B COS Working on L1B

I am working with company A on L1B Visa.. In 2008 company B filed H1B and changed my status to H1B. I received new I-94 along with H1 Approval and that was effective from Oct 1st 2008.

Since I want to continue with Company A, to void My H1B I-94 (Last Action Rule), I traveled to India on Sep 28 2008 and returned to India on Oct 6th 2008 on L1B Visa and working for Company A..

Now what should I do to to change my status to H1B?

Can I work for Company B?

What should I do If I want to work for new employer?

1. Go out of the country and enter on H1.
or
2. File for Change of status (L1 -> H1).

If my H1B Employer revokes my H1B, can I apply for change of status (L1 - > H1)?

Default New H1B

Since you have got your H1B, you are now cap exempt. So you can find any employer (even previous) to file a new H1B petition. You may need to go out, stamp it and come back.
