Filing new GC in EB2 for spouse while my GC is pending

Hi

I have filed my GC in EB3 and have approved I-140 and EAD on hand while I-485 is still pending with PD July'2006 for my self as primary and my Wife as family based.

Now as my wife is holding dependent EAD and working Full Time. Can she file her GC through her employer again on EB2 while her family based I-485 is pending with USCIS?

I want to tell you another thing here is, My wife herself had approved labor and I-140 in 2006 in EB3, but we did not file I-485 through her, because my PD was 1-week before hers. so we went with my GC processing.

Her old company xyz who filed her GC in 2006 got sold out to company abc and is no longer existing. so her approved EB3 and I-140 might have got cancelled.
