Exempt / H1B Worker
I am working on a case where the candidate falls under Exempt Category.
as per my understanding employer is not liable for extra hours or OT beyond 40 hours a week.
Let me know if employer will be liable to pay by law for the extra hours he worked?
lets say he worked 50 hours in a week and he billed employer to pay 10 hours as OT. Will the employer be liable to pay 50 hrs or 40 hours only?
