I think my case is heights of all the Fragomen mistakes. My company approved budget for my case in April 2006.Fragomen started the process right off because they need the initial pay.Now after they did that they informed me that,I should not contact them for what so ever reason because it is aganist the law.Agreed.So I did not contact them for more than 10 months assuming everything is going on fine. Then in May(yep one month before all dates were current), I called to find out whether they filed my case.I was told they found an issue with my add and experience 10months (ago)and they forgot to inform my company or me.Because of them I was not able to file my 485 last year. This august its been 10years in US for me.From then I would tell anyone who talks to me,go with Fragomen you are screwed ,unless your case gets assigned to a desi guy in Fragomen you are screwed with Fragoment from start(its just my observation).

Hi,
I had invoked AC21 and informed usc thru my old attorney. Now Frago...is filing my EAD,AP extensions and asking me to file G28 for AP and EAD only. They agreed to keep 485 G28 as is so that old attorney will take care of it. Do you see any issues here? |

Fragomen is incompetent. Period. If you work with an employer that retains Fragomen as their immigration counsel to process your Green Card, you should consider switching employers. Not only did Fragomen mess up my case, but they refused to acknowledge that they messed it up. I have to restart the Green Card process from scratch with a new employer. As a result, I am now in 2011 without a Green Card when I should have had it in 2006 or 2007.
BEWARE OF FRAGOMEN, FOLKS. THEIR INCOMPETENCE WILL MESS UP YOUR GREEN CARD PROCESS AND IN THE PROCESS, THEY WILL MESS UP YOUR LIFE. |

Touch wood, but so far we have had no issues with Fragomen (Chicago). They have been professional and competent in our case..they were very thorough with the paper work (for both LCA and 140- both got approved without any hassles). The lawyers were also prompt in answering all our e-mails. I notice many of the posts here are from 2008!

Fragomen took 17 months to file my PERM. Then, they got audited by the Department of Labor, which had the PERM stuck in Labor Certification for 2+ years. As a result, that PERM never made it to the I-140 stage and I had to restart from scratch with a new employer after end 2008 layoffs.
New employer filed a PERM within 7 months (compare that to Fragomen's 17!) and Labor Certification got approved in 2 months (compared to Fragomen's 2+ years). IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR GC PROCESS, CAREER, AND FAMILY, FRAGOMEN IS NOT THE IMMIGRATION COUNSEL YOU WANT. |

Our company is working with Fragomen (New York) for over 5 years, as of now, no issues in my case.
Last month (November 2011) they filed my 485, in fact very responsive and kind enough to answer my questions all the time, I can able to reach them directly over the phone and email, talked to them so many times during filling my paper work without any issues. I think it's depends on the person to person. Few days back my EAD/AP approved, hoping that the final step (GC) will clear soon. |

FRAGOMEN'S INCOMPETENCE OR COMPLICITY NEGATIVELY IMPACTED MY CAREER, LIFE, AND PERMANENT RESIDENCY PROCESS. ANY YOUNG ASPIRING IMMIGRANT SHOULD AVOID RETAINING FRAGOMEN AS THEIR IMMIGRATION COUNSEL. |

Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen, & Loewy is incompetent; the mistakes and slackness in handling immigration cases can bring disaster to a person's personal and professional life One more time: Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen, & Loewy sucks One last time: Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen, & Loewy was the cause of a major setback in my immigration efforts |

I did not have Fragomen personally, however Some of my friends and family members had to deal with them because of their employers. While none of the people I knew got their overall GC process screwed, I do know that in allmost all instances, It got delayed and things were defnly not processed fast enough ( maybe they do that wantedly as they are Employer friendly and not necessarily employee friendly). I think convincing your employer to retain a counsel of your choice will guarantee fast results and it might be difficult for many people, but where ever possible, I think that should be the case. I had my employer(S) retain my Immigration attorney who has dealing all my peteions since my first H1 petetion in 2005 and things used to be super fast and communication was and is always excellent.....

"While many workers enter the United States on long-term but temporary visas, such as high skilled H-1B visas, it is often difficult to become a permanent resident because of backlogs, bureaucracy, and lack of protections (such as work authorization) in the interim"
- add incompetence of immigration counsel to that list; if Deloitte's immigration counsel (Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen, & Loewy) had handled my case with a reasonable degree of competence, I would have been done with the Permanent Residency process two years ago. I value the experiences and friendships from Deloitte, but from an immigration standpoint, should have left that Firm after three years instead of five. I'm now in year 7 since I initiated my Permanent Residency efforts and year 15 since I first came to the US. #Fragomensucks #liveandlearn |

I received my PR with Chase/Fragomen but i had dealt with many other firms during my 12 year H1B and 8 year PR process.
In my experience, Fragomen delays the process unnecessarily. One has to put pressure on them via the managers/hr folks during the application process. They don't respond to your emails or calls unless you call 3-4 times with the same question. When compared to other law firms, Fragomen is at the bottom of the barrel.
