RFE on self filed 485

Hi,

I received an RFE on my 485 which i filed on July 5, 2007. The RFE says

"You did not properly complete Part 3, Section C of your Form I-485 application. Therefore, submit an affidavit listing your present and past membership in, with every political organization, association, fund,............... ...............or any other place since your 16th birthday. Include your name, location and purpose of each organization and your dates of membership. If none, then state "none" in your affidavit"

I guess i might have forgotten to write "none" in section c.

1. Does any one have a format for this kind of affidavit? And should it be notarized?
2. Shall i send orginal employment letter with this RFE even though they did not mention in RFE? (As i only sent a copy of the letter)

FYI my PD is Sep, 2006, EB2 India

Have you kept copy of your 485 application?
No just send what they have asked with he copy of the letter.

Any notary can help you in writing affidavit including above wording. It will be better to notorize.

I am sorry that you are going through this. However, filing I-485 is no joke. Almost all of us could have filed I-485 ourselves if we wanted to. But we didn't choose to do so since we tried of avoid RFE such as your's. My personal opinion is that I would rather pay for something like this than going through the hassle and mental stress.

The language that the USCIS uses on their letters are canned but complex. Other than experienced immigration attorneys, almost nobody can interpret those letters. Now, you can send them back what you think they are asking for. But, I don't think you know for sure what they are asking for. I don't think anybody really knows here since nobody is posting anything in this thread.

If I were you, I would hire an experienced immigration lawyer and pay him/her to go from here. Good luck.

Can you please share the contents of notarized statement you submitted in response to this RFE , I have recieved the similar RFE and lawyers are just taking too mich time to respond.
