Replacement EAD

We got "Approval Notice Sent" emails 6 days back. I received my EAD 3 days back but haven't received my wife's yet.

Has anyone filed for Replacement EAD? Do we need to wait 30 days from the date we received the approval email? How long does it take usually to receive a Replacement card?

Please share your experiences.

"Card production ordered" is the first status that you will see and then it will change to "Approval notice sent". Tentatively, Your card will be postmarked with the date when your status changed to "Approval notice sent" and it takes upto 4 calendar days to receive the card through mail. Usually, approval notice goes to attorney on file for 765, if you have filed G28 otherwise you will receive it. Call USCIS and find out whether the card is ordered then ask for follow-up actions and decide whether to file for replacement card. There is no separate form for replacement cards - you will still be using same 765 form; I guess, same processing time applies - you may expedite by taking infopass after receiving the receipt notice for your replacement card by providing the letter from the employer. Do I need to the pay the application fee of $340 again?
Do I need to send all documents(the docs that were sent while applying for renewal) again for the replacement EAD application?

Anybody out there with Self and Spouse EAD Card approved from NSC, but Self actual physical EAD card arrived but Spouse physical EAD card did not arrive at the usual time say 5 days after approval.

Usually I have seen both arrive at the same time. Please comment. Thanks.

I ahve also heard about cards being stolen from the Kentucky facility. So, anybody out there who had to file for a replacement card for self or spouse.

I called USCIS and they told me to wait for 30 days and then give them a call back. If I call them after 30 days about the missing card, they might open a case for it. I am not sure how many days it will take for them to send the replacement card.

Should I go ahead and send them the replacement application for the missing EAD? any suggestions/experiences?

I received renewed EAD cards a week ago. I had applied a couple of months ago. I noticed that the renewed EAD card also says 'Fingerprint not available'. My fingerprinting was done in March 08.

Is this expected? Does anyones EAD card have a fingerprint on it?

My(dependant) EAD is still pending while primary's EAD was approved on 8/19 by TSC.

Hi ,

My wife's name was wrong in the EAD card we got recently , my attorney doesnt want to fix this , we called USCIS and they have asked to sent a new 765 along with old form having the name right ( jus to proove its not our fault ) and the EAD card . Should we send the supporting documents any similar experiences ??

I received my EAD but my spouse EAD did not arrive and it has been more than 2 weeks. The status says Card production Ordered.

I have the same question should I have to wait untill the 30 days have passed to reapply for replacement ead or can I apply before?. Is there any way the process can be expedited as my spouse has to work on this EAD. Any info is really appreciated.

Hello,

I am in exactly the same situation. I have received my renewal EAD but my spouse hasn't. Her EAD expires 4th November. USCIS told me to call back on 11th Oct which is 30 days after they sent it. I do not want to wait till 11th. I am pretty sure its lost in the mail.

She is going to get a job offer next week, will she have any problems due to the fact that her EAD expires within 30 days?

Also whats the best thing for me to do now?

Please advise.
