Can I apply EAD for my spouse L2 visa which is expiring in 2 months from the EAD application date.

I am curious. Why L2 gets EAD and not H4? My wife is at home almost 14 years and can't work.

... Because IV did not exist when this law was written.

It does not make sense to have disparity in the benefits of 2 visas.

EAD processing might take 2-3 months, So I believe it doesn't make any sense in applying now if her I94 is expiring in 2 months. You should apply later, if you are applying L1/L2 extension?
