H1 B Amendment or Work on EAD
Our Parent company acquired a new company and our Division was moved to the new company. We will be in the new Payroll by end of June, 2012. My 485 was filed on Dec 13,2012 and it is now 180 days. New company wants to file
H1-B Amendment and says do not work on EAD. 180 days on Payroll was completed with the old company who filed 485 and I-140 is approved and is not revoked.
Right now I am in India on my Vaccation and is planning to return by end of July. I will be working remote for the new company in July. They can file H1-B Amendment only after my return to USA. Is H1-B amendment or EAD better for me. Any benefit with filing H1-B Amendment. Can I work on EAD with new company.Any problems with both options. My family is also in India and my wife's 485 is also filed along with me.
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
