Overnighted the entire package (signed Form 485, medical result, docs...) to my lawyer's office, the package arrived today. She just emailed saying everything has been submitted. Well, does that mean the application is considered filed in June? Even if she overnight the package to USCIS, tomorrow being Saturday, does USCIS accept package on weekend? Does the board know which date the USCIS go by? The date on the stamp? The date the package arrives? Or what else? I am a big nervous because there is a PD for ROW starting July 1st.

Please enlighten me.

Ask your attorney for the Tracking Number. If its sent by Overnight yes Fedex does have Saturday Delivery but am not sure if there is anyone to pick it up.

I wish I could do it myself. My company wants to use a lawyer so the choice isn't up to me.

Is there a formal receipt date for I-140 and 485? If so, would that be the date USCIS goes by?
