Default EAD fees

I looked at many threads where this was discussed. I still dont get it whether I have to pay the fees to renew my EAD. I applied for 485 in the July 2007 fiasco. I am currently on EAD/AP. I am stuck at this question.

"WARNING: You selected Eligibility Status Code (c)(9). Please validate by checking the form filing instructions that you must pay the Form I-765 fee. If you are eligible to file the Form I-765 for no fee, please delete/cancel your application and file via paper"
