Default expediting I-485 process

Hi Guys,

I have already posted this it on attroney's forum. However, my thread just collected dust with no responses. So, I am taking my chances here as I need help. So, sorry if I am breaking any rules. Here is my case. I responded to RFE's (the birthcertificate and to prove the my marriage is bonafied) for my wife and myself . It has been over 60 days since they received my response. As stipulated by them, I am suppose to be informed by them with regards to what happened to my case. Few days back when I checked my status, I realized that my case is still at RFE level (thanks to new chages to the website). It is has to go through Testing and Interview, Decision and Post-Decision activity levels before I recieve a card.

What should I infer from current status, given that it is at RFE level? Did they accepted responsed or that my response documents are collecting dust? If so, what, if at all possible, can I do so that they can process my documents and move my applications to next level?

I am hope atleast they would pre-adjudicate my applications so that they can be ready for approval onces dates or current. Is there something I can do, like taking infopass, to push my applications to be preadjudiated or atleast to next level (Decision level)?

This is common.. same with my case... Don't go by the status you see on site.
If you see RFE received , you are good
Once the VB dates is close to our PD, they will pre-adjudicate cases.

Well join the bandwagon so that we can figure it out if this is the case. We have to options
1) wait and see what they do to your case
2) Figureout and take essential action so the your case is take a right course.

If we are not losing any thing, why can not we simply call them or take infopass to get right information. Can we take serive request for updated information? Since they are running out of time, they might be willing to look at cases like ours. what do u think?

Default Come onn

Come on guys. This is important formost of the guys who have filed I-485 and responded to RFE's. Help me decide on whether I could do some thing about my status or not.

I am not sure if my wife's Adress has been updated or not since I made request for change of address for both of us. I tried all option to update our address. But its only me who receive change of address confirmation. So, my attorney was suggesting me to take infopass and request for address change. I am wondering If could use this opportunity to also equire about my rfe response status. Any thoughts and suggestions? Thanks in advance.
