I got my 485 approval last week, my PD is Aug2002 and 485 filed in June 2007(TSC), my question is my wife didn't get her 485 approval so far,
i) does it mean her application got caught into the retrogression and need to wait for couple more years to receive the approval
or
iii)Would they have assigned a visa number for her once mine got approved, but not opened the case.

How in general derivative applications are processed, any senior member, gurus, can please advice?

Congrats..ur approval is super fast...Call USCIS and check with them. My gut feeling says that ur wife's approval should also be on the way...
