Confusion regarding reciept date

We have filed our application on July 2nd, through company lawyer. I never recieved and updates on 485 reciept. Today I got my FP notice. It mentioned that the application was recieved on September 11. I am confused as we have filed on July 2nd. This is the official status. Our PD is June 2004, india

"On September 11, 2007, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."

Does it sound ok?

Sep 11 is the Notice Date(ND).In the receipt there's the Receipt Date(RD) which will reflect the date the petition was received by USCIS.In your case it would be July 2nd.Dont worry about it.Its normal.

Is Receive Date shown as July 2? It makes a difference if you ever need to use AC21.
