Question Case Status Retrieval Failed
I received my receipt for 485(filed on July 19th, EB2) last week. When I check the online status, I get the following message:

Case Status Retrieval Failed
This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.


I guess it's some sort of database sync issue ...

Did anyone experience this problem?

Hi Have same issue with my kids 485 and AP which were recieved 25days back., let me know if you have called natinal service center and what is the status.

I just called USCIS and spoke and came to know that indeed they have details in USCIS database but online database is still not updated and we should not worry.

I have the same problem. I called the USCIS and they said the same... that they are having some problems with their systems and that I need not worry.

Hi All,

I have mailed my I-485, I-765 and I-131 on August 10th. They reached TSC on August 13th. 10/10 TSC Cleared my Checks. I found the SRC0800XXXXXX Receipt Numbers on Back of the checks....But Those Numbers Not available on the USCIS Automated System.

I got Message Like Bellow:

Validation Error(s)
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

* Case Status Retrieval Failed
* This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center.

But I didn't call USCIS so far...Waiting for Original Receipts.

Default Wait For Your Case To Appear Online
It might take up to a week for the cases to appear online....i called uscis on oct 11th and they gave me the rns....but till oct 15th, it was not there in the online system. so, just wait (now we are used to this!!!!)...it will show up...
