I-485 No Receipt (Filed on July 5th)

I'm a new member, so not sure whether this is the right place to post this. I've filed my I-485 @ NSC on July 5th and have not received a receipt yet. It's been more than 90 days.

Is anyone else who filed around that date still waiting to receive a receipt? Or am the only one?

By all standards, you should have the receipt number by now. Call USCIS customer service and follow the menu, have lot of patience and all the info with u when u call them up.

it happened to me when everyone else had received, I was still waiting for receipts.

emailed my HR and in turn asked lawyer -> advice -> wait for 90 days. if not, then we can ask USCIS.

in ur case, already 90 days.

go ask USCIS. u may have to give them proof of UPS or FedEx receipt

Got to the forums menu and select I-485 reciept tracker and you will find that you are not the only one sailing. There are bunch of July 2nd filers who have not got their reciepts yet to start with. I am one among them . Filed on July 2nd no activity yet, no checks cashed .

Called USCIS and my information is still not in their database. The operator asked me to call again later.

I filed I485/EAD/AP on 2nd July but no result till date.I Called USCIS Today also and my information is still not in their database.

i filed for me and my wife through the lawyer on july 6th at NSC. I did not and havent received a receipt; however, 2 days ago we both received the EAD card (no AP yet) through the mail. I THEN went and checked the status online, and there it said cards had been ordered for processing.

Also, it turns out my lawyer had received the receipt notice on Sept. 18th, but i didnt.

My application reached NSC on July 17th, No updates yet..

Application received by NSC on July 19. Called USCIS yesterday 10/09/07 - still nothing in the system. I'll call again in a week.

If you have a lawyer please ask them, because in my case only the lawyer got the receipt notice.

Now here is what happened to me: filed on July 2nd in Nebraska, receipt notice came from California on Sept 5th, then they forwarded it back to Nebraska and I go the notice of action in the mail (this time I did get it and my lawyer did not), but now my receipt date is Sept. 5th instead of July 2nd.....so don't be surprised if they pull the same thing on you!!!

check online at uscis and make sure your date has already been receipted, then call and call and call....who knows what is getting lost when they move everything around and around!

I filed my case on July 17th to TSC. No Checks cashed yet / No receipts.

Today USCIS supposed to release bulletin. I hope TSC/NSC moves 5 more days ahead.

I have a question though : Will USCIS releases bulletin like this once both service centers dates touched Aug 17th which is the last date of submitting 485 applications due to July visa bulletin fiasco.

I even checked Oh Law firm website and they posted still 400,000 applications were waiting to be processed.

Any thoughts about this?

in the processing of receipts, EAD and AP. I know it is very frustrating to have not received your receipts.

All you can do is wait some more time AND call the 800 number once in a while to see if the receipt is being generated.

As long as you have a fedex tracking confirmation, you should be fine. The receipts will get generated.

Even I was in the same situation till yesterday. I'm a July 2nd filer @ NSC. I got my receipts for I-485/EAD and AP only yesterday. I had to call the customer service and get these numbers. So there's still hope. Hang in there guys. Your receipts should be coming out soon. I'd advice you to call up USCIS and ask them for the status. Good Luck to everyone.
