Hi, any body in this situation?

i and my wife applied for 485 on July 30 and it reached USCIS on July 31st. On Sept 17th my checks got cashed. but till now my wifes checks NOT cashed yet. i am worrying about my wife's application. any body has any idea, what is going on? Any body in the same situation?

I am in the same boat. We applied on July 27th at TSC.

same boat...got rns for me. but checks not cashed for spouse. neither got rns....

same here. Got my checks cleared but not for my derivatives. My lawyer told me to relax. They might be doing the data entry by batches. I'll wait till Friday before calling them.

I am in the same boat. I received my 485 receipt a month ago. I called USCIS regarding my wifes receipt and they couldn't find any data on her name. The lady at USCIS said that its usual practice to enter all the applications from a family at the same time.

My lawyer sent a letter to USCIS to investigate the issue.

I am also in the same boat ...for my son i got RN by calling USCIS.Checks not cashed and no actual Notice?Any one on the same boat? How long it will take to get the notice?Status says USCIS mailed letter on 10/10 today is 10/18 and we haven't received any letter?

If the dependents checks are not cashed for more than two weeks, call attorney to find out if they have received the application back from USCIS. I did experience same problem. I called lawyer and he told me that my wife's application was returned by USCIS for wrong fee. so please don't wait too long..

Thanks for responding.My case I should get the receipt and I didn't do the G-28 form.It's been 10 days since The status is mailed.I will wait for couple of more days and then request my lawyer to put an enquiry.

Finally received the Receipt notice for my wife's application. USCIS also responded to the letter sent by my attorney.
