Exclamation EAD card production ordered
got email saying EAD "card production ordered" but no email about "approved"
is it possible to get EAD card without approval email? how long it takes to get the card from the date of this update?

same case is with me.....i have my fp today after 4 hrs and on oct 10, i got this update on my I765 form which is being processed at CSC. My RD is july 23 and ND is Sep. 15.

"On October 9, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register."


I hope i dont have to wait litreally for another 30 days....

mnq1979,
30 days is a standard time, people get with in a week. BtW there is no link
to FP and ead update in 4 hrs.
I hope our forum friends can answer this situation like this. No approval email but card ordered ... confused.. I know some got email "Approved" first.

In the next 2-3 days, you will get the "Approval Notice sent" update.
You will get the card in a week's time .Thats what happened in my case.

I received this email EAD "card production ordered" twice 3days apart!
Should the 2nd email be for "approval" instead of repeat? Did you also get the same email twice in few days apart? I am confused.

My wife's EAD online status says it was approved and sent on Sept 27th. But we haven't recd so far. She did not recvd receipt also. We have FP Oct 20th. hopefully EAD will be cleared after FP.

The case status message for mine and my wife's EAD changed to Card production ordered. It did not change to Approval notice sent, however my lawyer received the Approval notices (wife and mine) first week of October.
