Incorrect Receipt Date

I haven't received the physical notice yet. I called USCIS and got the receipt numbers. My application was received at NSC on July 19, 2007, but the officer told me that the receipt date is Aug 14 and the notice date is OCt 13. Please share information about how should I get this info corrected.

Please call USCIS's 800 number and ask to create "service request" for correction and also send letter with delivery proof to

P.O. Box 82521
Lincoln, NE 68501-2521

Thanks a lot for the reply. I applied at NSC but got the receipts from Texas. SO I should mail the resquest to TSC or NSC?? Secondly, I should have the company lawyer do it or should I do it myself??

iAM ALSO IN A SIMILAR SITUATION.i received physical notice it says receipt date 0ct11 and notice date oct 15.i applied on aug2.my case is transferred from Vermont to Texas.can u pls advice me what u did to get the receipt date corrected.Thanks in advance

i am also in same situation. my application reached texas on aug 3rd.
y'day i got a transfer notice from vermont to texas.
in that i have receipt numbers and receipt date as oct 11 and notice date as oct 23.
Is it the receipt date of my 485 application?? funny thing is oct 23 is not yet come but notice date shows oct 23.

i too would like to get it corrected if possible. is anyone able to do it?
how long does EAD approval takes for those who received receipts from vermont?/

Hi cooldude and rsrikanth

my lawyer received receipt notice for I -131 receipt date is aug 3.so i think we dont have to worry abt the receipt date in the transfer notice.online it says received on oct 10.waiting for the receipt of 485 and EAD. u will also get it soon
