Good, reasonable doctor for medical test in bay area

Folks,
I read through all the archives I could. I am looking for a good reasonable doctor to get medical tests done for I-485.

I spoke to this doctor:

Has anyone gone to him or similar centers before? He says with Kaiser insurance he will ask for only 150$ fee to do full tests. I suspect he will bill Kaiser for a huge cost? In a illegal way? Anyone had good/bad experience with this kinda thing?

I am not comfortable going to him. Is there any other recommendation for a good, reasonable doctor in the area?

There is a list of approved doctors from whom you can do the medical tests.

here is the link from USCIS to search for one in your area
Usually you can just pay the doctor directly for the tests and skip the insurance...its not so expensive < $200

Thanks for the pointers. I did look up the list this morning. As you can see Peter Chung (the doc I am asking about) is one of the provided list of doctors (he's last in the list you posted here).

And the cost has ranged from 300$ to 600$ too for the folks I read about or called up. Hence the question.

What has been the cost for other folks in the area? If someone charged <200$ and gave a good report, PLEASE do recommend the doc's name!

try looking in other areas...outside Santa Clara...they might have a lower price

the doc i used was 4 years ago and in very different area from you...you'll spend a lot more just coming to my area

Hi Shishya,
I used this doctor in Sunnyvale recently and his charges are $195 ($175 if u dont need the TDaP vaccine). Do take ur immunization record, if u have any.

I used this doctor in Sunnyvale upon the previous post. I had my immunization record, and they had to do blood work. The physical charges was $135. I also had to get a chest x-ray ($40, 2 blocks away). I hope to get everything signed and ready by saturday morning.
